Joint Production Technology New Patents Announcement
MACOMB - Joint Production Technology (JPT) announced on Thursday the granting of Patent Number 7,909,548 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for their tooling and fixturing system used in the CNC inside machining of "Full-Sphere" Differential Cases. This JPT patented process is an alternative to single point machining thereby greatly enhancing diametrical part quality, tool life and overall system through-put. Read more here.
The company similarly received intellectual property protection from The United States of America on the JPT PASS™ System. United States Patent Number 7,422,398 for tooling and fixturing for CNC “Drop-in” Style machining of the Spherical Seat and Gear-Face on Differential Cases. This JPT patented process is an enhancement as well as a CNC alternative to transfer line and dial type machinery. The company has also been granted patents from China and Vietnam and has patents pending notably in EU (Europatent), Canada, Mexico, South America, Asia, Japan, Korea as well as other specific countries.

JPT was originally registered to ISO-9001:1994 standard and subsequently upgraded to ISO-9001:2000 and currently to the latest ISO standard of ISO-9001:2008.
